hey Mike,
I tweeted you. I was curious if you would be willing to part with that vollmann ARC? Cash money for a chance to check out my favorite authors new tome a bit early. Please.

Hi Michael,
I’m researching Carver and Lish for a Masters in Creative Writing. I would really like to read your article ‘Esquire’s Failure with Hemingway’s “Bimini”. Is there any chance you could email this in PDF format?
I would really appreciate it if you could. Thanks
Jane

Hi Michael,
I am a fan of one of your short stories ‘The Naughty Yard’. I am a film maker who has made two feature films ‘Toothache’ and Nadine and would love to write a script loosely based on your short story. I I live between Paris and London and already have funds from the French state for writing the screenplay. Please tell me if this possible. Wishing you the very best.

Hello, I noticed that your book ‘The Dirty Realism Dou’ states that no part of it can be reproduced in any way. I am looking to use it in an assignment and in my dissertation, so does this mean that if referenced properly it can be used?
I’d really appreaciate a quick reply.
Thanks,
Mag

Hi there Michael:
I recently took a literature course in my doctoral program and wrote an essay on Riding Toward Everywhere. None of my classmates were familiar with WTV. But I wanted to thank you, albeit late, for your work on Vollmann; it proved to be such an extremely valuable resource for me. Also, I was wondering if you would like a copy of my essay to peruse. I didn’t know how else to get a hold of you and maybe this all seems strange and improper and idiotic but I just needed to express my gratitude. bcarroll@uta.edu
